Heartland Venture News is the editorial voice of Heartland Venture Network. We make coverage decisions based on relevance, evidence, and the value to readers. Sponsors do not buy independent coverage. Paid content is clearly labeled.
Sources, verification and corrections
We seek original reporting, link to source material, distinguish confirmed facts from interpretation, and credit others’ work. Automated research supports our weekly news briefs. Routine briefs may publish after source verification; submitted tips, sensitive claims, and conflicting reports require editorial review. We don’t invent interviews, quotes, or reporting.
Use the story form to request a correction. Include the article link, the issue, and supporting information. Material corrections will be identified in the updated story.
Your submissions and personal information
We store the name, email, organization, region, message, consent choices, and files you submit. We use them to review your request and follow up. Submissions and files are accessible to authorized editors, not published by default. We may use private relationship management tools to organize follow-up.
We ask before sharing personal contact details for an introduction. We do not sell contact lists. Membership applications do not create a public profile. Newsletter interest is recorded for launch; delivery will begin only when the email service is ready.
We aim to review inactive submissions after twelve months and remove personal data no longer needed. To request access, a correction, or deletion, submit a request through the story form using the same email address. We may verify your identity first.
Media and permissions
Share only material you have permission to submit. Submission allows private editorial review; publication rights and credits are confirmed before use. Do not send highly sensitive information through this form. Embargoes require explicit written acceptance by an editor.
Relationships
Organizations listed as ecosystem resources are not represented as formal partners. Any future collaboration or commercial relationship will be described accurately. Material conflicts relevant to a story will be disclosed.
